Occupational therapy requires the professional to exhibit a great deal of respect to a client as well as a resolve to help them make goals as well as commitments in therapy to acheive those goals. Clients and their families place a great measure of trust in the therapist to lead them into making better choices with thier bodies than what they would have done. The therapist utilizes tools supported by research in order to improve the client'sphysical abilities like strength and cardio activities. More important than that is the need to relieve or eliminate pain, find better ways to do simple physical operations in daily routines, and to return to a normal life that resemble more of what the client once had.
